How VII handles your data. Last updated: March 2026.
When you request access or contact us, we collect your name, email address, company name, and information about your use case. We use this information solely to evaluate your application and communicate with you about our services.
VII processes video data provided by our customers for the purpose of generating structured intelligence. We do not store, copy, or retain video data beyond the processing window unless explicitly configured by the customer. We never use customer video data to train AI models.
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). For on-premise and air-gapped deployments, all data remains within the customer's physical infrastructure. We maintain SOC 2 Type II compliance controls and undergo regular security audits.
Cloud deployments may route video frames to VLM provider APIs (e.g., Google Gemini, OpenAI) for analysis. These providers process data under their enterprise data processing agreements. On-premise deployments do not make any external API calls.
Customers control their own data retention policies. Structured analysis results are retained until deleted by the customer. Raw video data is not retained by VII unless the customer explicitly configures long-term storage. All deletions are permanent and audited.
